Membership Information and Application – Peaceful Village Raw Vegan Healing Community Ecuador

Here you can find all the information to become a community member and live in Peaceful Village Raw Vegan Healing Community. There are many benefits to becoming a community member compared to being a volunteer, guest or visitor.

In addition to all the lovely things that volunteers and guests receive, becoming a community member, you also receive the following perks and benefits compared to joining another intentional community, according to the A Community Members Manual.

There is no expensive buy-in fee like many other intentional communities implement. Some buy-in fees can be even tens of thousands of dollars just to become a community member, which does not even include the price of the plot of land.
No need to work in a full-time job outside of a town or city to be able to live here. Living at Peaceful Village is less expensive and much more simple. A human can usually thrive here by buying their food and other expenses on a budget of roughly $40 to 50 USD weekly. If one is very frugal, they can even live much cheaper.
Community members get a private homestead lot to build their cabin and the ability to have a garden and fruiting plants/trees. Size to be determined in the near future, but most likely will not be larger than 1000 square meters.
Priority in the distribution of harvesting fruits and other food growing on Peaceful Village land.
Having access to the Supplementation Program for acquiring food (once it is available).
The right to participate in the consensus and decision-making meetings concerning Peaceful Village operations.
Being involved in the decision-making of Peaceful Village’s foundational and structural documents.
Having access to the services of our future healing center (once it is established).
The ability to write books, blogs or create videos and other social media content, for Peaceful Village.
Be a part of the organization and volunteering team for events, retreats, and classes at Peaceful Village.
Be a part of a like-minded soul family where all of us, brothers and sisters, love and support each other for life.

Application Process

Our community is special and unique. Everyone who wishes to experience life, live, and become a community member at Peaceful Village Raw Vegan Healing Community must read, understand, and resonate from their heart our entire website, and fill out the following application form below. If we feel you could be a great fit at Peaceful Village, we will progress in the next steps. If you are accepted, and once you arrive at Peaceful Village, you need stay as a guest or volunteer for at least six months to a year and we must all resonate with each other before the community members here decide to allow you to become a community member and get a private homestead lot at Peaceful Village. We are very selective with who we choose as community members and don’t just allow anyone to live here. We resonate with raw vegan (or those who are transitioning to raw vegan), loving, happy, positive, anarchists, nonconformists, and minimalists to join our community. We don’t judge or discriminate against anyone, regardless of their financial background, skin color, sexual orientation or preference, etc.

When filling out this membership application form, please be as open and honest as possible and add in as much detail as you can. This form will take some time to complete. If your internet goes down, you may have to retype and resend the form. It is best to save your responses to a text notepad or document writer, save it, and then copy and paste all the answers into the form so you don’t lose any work. Note: Upon arrival, everyone gives a returnable deposit of $100 each (which we give back at the end of their stay) to Peacful Village in case of damages or breakages. There are certain exceptions to this. At Peaceful Village we keep all the facilities and areas in the best conditions possible for future people to be able to enjoy them. All of us staying temporarily or are living here, do our best to keep the areas we use tidy and clean, as we respect the property and things of Peaceful Village. It is our responsibility to do what is right if we damage a property item of the community. This also applies not only to physical material items but also to how we treat and see other humans here, as is explained in our core values.

Because we are a semi-private community, we will communicate privately with guests through email (we recommend using protonmail for secure email communication) and send additional details for those welcome to join us at our raw vegan healing community. The minimum stay is two weeks, however, we recommend people enjoy three months or longer to fully experience natural jungle living.

As we receive many applications, we cannot respond to everyone.

Even though Ecuador is a Spanish-speaking place, understand that everyone who stays at Peaceful Village speaks at least basic English. How proficient are you at speaking and reading the English language? Do you also speak or write in other languages? Would you be able to help with translation from English to another language? *

How and what devices, app/software or services do you use to keep yourself protected online for your anonymity and safety? *

Do you have any knowledge and experience using Tor Browser and with the dark web, and if so, please explain and for how long? *

What are your views and understanding about anarchism, nonconformity, governments, police, vaccines, COVID-19/Coronavirus, country borders, travel visas, and immigration laws? Are you already COVID-19 vaccinated (how many doses and boosters) or do you ever plan on getting vaccinated for COVID-19 in the future? *

Would you like to become a community member and get a personal homestead lot in our community? *

Would you be willing to relocate to a raw vegan healing community in the tropical jungle of Ecuador? *

Would you be interested to donate a large amount of money or items that are needed to Peaceful Village? *

Would you be able to live more in harmony with Nature, nonhuman animals, and humans living with limited internet and electricity? What times and days do you mostly use internet or absolutely need to use internet for work? *

How could you be financially self-sustainable living in the forest in a community outside of the society system? How do you currently earn income in society? Do you earn money online, and if so, how? Understand, that because we are not completely self-sustainable, that food and basic internet, bus/taxi, and laundry services will cost around $200 USD monthly for each person. Staying as a guest is a minimum $120 monthly donation or one can volunteer at no cost. Currently, we don’t have internet or electricity on the land, so we go once or twice to town for that. *

As we currently have limited availability of tents and lodging, you may have to bring your own waterproof/rainproof tent. Do you have a tent, and if not, could you get one to use? *
